The pH level of Jo Jo Brow Define Hybrid Brow Cream henna infused Tints after mixing with the developer is between 9-10, putting it well into the alkaline range (7 is neutral, above is alkaline, below is acidic)

Thioglycolate acid (TGA), which is used in both brow lamination/lash lift, has no affect on the structure of the tint or its effectiveness as a dye, since it is also alkaline in nature

Henna extract is infused into our cream tints not for the purpose of enhancing any colour but to boost a range of additional positive benefits allied to the extract, namely the presence of phenolics (can help stimulate hair follicle growth), proteins, antioxidants and vitamin E (can help repair hair damage), thereby aiding the health of the brow hair
